Mohan Impex, established in 1994, is one of India's prominent distribution houses specializing in food ingredients, chemicals, and commodities. As the company grew over three decades, its operations across warehouse, supply chain, factory, NPD lab, sales, import-export, and HR were managed through Tally for accounting, Excel sheets for everything else, and WhatsApp for internal communication — with no unified system connecting any of them.
Data was fragmented across multiple systems with no single source of truth. The warehouse team tracked inventory in spreadsheets, the sales department maintained separate customer records, and the factory managed production schedules independently. This led to duplication, errors, and departments operating in silos with little coordination.
A comprehensive IT and AI audit of all departments — including site visits to the factory, warehouse, and office — revealed that virtually no automation existed. Order processing, inventory updates, and customer communications were all handled manually. Proprietary ERP solutions like BatchMaster and BeatRoute were evaluated but rejected due to high recurring license costs, limited customizability, and lack of data ownership.

The system covers all 7 departments: Warehouse, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Factory, NPD Lab (New Product Development), Import-Export, and HRM.
The Warehouse module provides real-time inventory tracking with automated reorder alerts. Supply Chain Management integrates procurement, vendor management, and logistics.
