Scaling Structured SAP Training Across the Workforce

UNO MINDA needed a structured digital training platform to upskill employees across multiple SAP functional modules — FICO, HRM, MM, PM, PP, QM, and SD. Traditional classroom-based training was difficult to scale, lacked standardized assessments, and provided no way to track individual progress or enforce learning prerequisites.

The organization required a system where employees could self-register, enroll in modules, and progress through video-based lessons and multi-level assessments in a controlled, sequential manner — ensuring foundational knowledge was mastered before advancing to higher levels.

Without a centralized platform, there was no consistent way to verify SAP competency, enforce assessment rules, or determine certificate eligibility — making it difficult to identify skill gaps and ensure training quality across the organization.

The Solution

Customized Frappe LMS with Structured Assessments and Enrollment Controls

We built a comprehensive training and assessment platform on the Frappe LMS framework, customized to support UNO MINDA's SAP training requirements. The platform hosts 100+ training videos across 7 SAP modules, each with structured lessons and three assessment levels (L1, L2, L3) that employees must pass sequentially.

Custom enrollment logic restricts employees to one module at a time, ensuring focused learning. Sequential navigation prevents skipping lessons or assessments, and each assessment level allows only one attempt — requiring employees to pass the previous level before attempting the next. Certificate eligibility is automatically determined based on an 80% score threshold.

The platform features role-based access control with distinct roles for Admins, Course Directors, Course Coordinators, Course Facilitators, and Course Co-Facilitators — enabling structured oversight of the entire training program. Employees self-register and manage their own learning journey through module search and card-based navigation.
